The Resident Support Technician will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for:
- Carry out MHE equipment servicing in accordance to the quality standards as set out in the equipment manuals
- To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
- To undertake repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
- Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC
- Prioritise system faults
- To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
- To ensure quality of output at all times
- To accurately record all work undertaken
- Maintain product flow at all times
- Involvement in continuous improvement activities
- To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
- To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company
- To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
Knowledge & Experience Required/Desired:
- ONC/HNC or Full B-Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
- A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals and drawings
- Basic understanding of control systems and techniques
- Electrical bias preferred
- Proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good customer relations
- Ability to work solo and as part of a team

The hours of work are 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am covering Mon-Sun – 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off.
This role would suit an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Similar.
